Stuck in kids mode!!

Help! I'm stuck in kids mode on my daughters galaxy tab 3 for kids. I have no idea what the password is to get to the parent settings. Is there a way to reset a password from kids mode?

I imagine it's to late to help the original poster but hopefully it'll help someone else.

Wiping the cache didn't work for me. What did work was to boot into safe mode then uninstall kids mode.

• Power Down
• Turn on phone normally
• Hold volume down while phone boots
• Unlock phone
• Select "TouchWiz Home"
• Open App Drawer
• Find "Kids Mode" icon
• Touch and hold icon
• Drag to uninstall
• Reboot phone to exit safemode

I have a slightly different problem with kids mode. After the last update, It prompted me to update kids mode. I said yes. Now my Samsung Galaxy tablet is locked in a loop.

I get a message Update Kids Mode. If I hit update it says Unfortunately Kids Mode has Stopped. I click ok and it goes back to the beginning asking me to update kids mode.

If I answer later, the window duplicates and it asks me to update kids mode again.

I tried the suggestion of opening in safe mode. I can get to safe mode, but I am still stuck in the same loop. I cannot get to my apps to uninstall this POS!!

Very frustrating. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! It's odd that it remains in that loop in Safe Mode. Which Galaxy tablet do you have? I'd suggest a cache partition wipe, but need to know which tablet it is first.

Your next option is to reinstall the firmware. You could try either Smart Switch (SmartSwitch: Install & update or replace firmware) or Odin (http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html). Unfortunately, this will wipe your tablet, so hopefully you had been keeping your data regularly backed up or synced.

My phone is a oppo r11 and i wanted to het out of kidas mode,so i followed what google said which is a different version. So i am stuck after pressing the disk

So, I bought an Alcatel1T7 for my daughter and l went into Parent center app and set up a password a few days later she said the app won't let her out so I put in the password and it kept saying parent center app not responding I tried changing the password for days now she has to search for apps by the icons where wi-fi and data are all the time she wants to access an app help someone

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, then tap Menu>Show System, and look for the Parent Center app there. If you find it, try clearing its app cache/data.
