Stuck On 1X

My M frequently sticks on a 1X connection and requires a soft reset to get back on 4G. It's very annoying to see that persistent 1X when I know there's a perfectly good 4G signal. Has anyone else experienced this?

Iv only been on 1x twice but my RAZR m goes to 3g a lot and if you turn airplane mode on and wait a few seconds and turn it off it should go to 4g lte
