Stuck on Boot After Flashing

Hey all, this is my first post, so I apologize in advance for my noobery

So after owning my phone for some time, I finally decided to root it. I had stupidly upgraded to 2.3.4 so it was much more difficult than it would have otherwise been. Thanks to tack's helpful posts, rivera82falcon at xda and notluK's amazing video, I got this done without any hiccups.

I then installed Root Manager from the market and tried to flash CyanoMod. Luckily I backed up because when it started to boot up, it got stuck at the boot screen. I left it alone for a good 40 minutes or so, but all that happened was the android on the skateboard would go back and forth, the arrow would go in a circle or two, then it would freeze and repeat. At this point I took the battery out and put it in recovery, then restored from my backup. I have tried another couple ROMs the same way and the manual way outlined on xda to no avail.

This would be all fine and I would retire to "I guess I wasn't meant to root" but now I get no service! Did I somehow botch my radio in the process?

I'm thinking now to either flash the original Gingerbread RUU I found on xda or trying to flash a different radio and seeing if that helps.

Any help or guidance would be MUCH appreciated!!!

Ok, I figured some kind of solution out, which I'll explain in case someone else winds up in the same quagmire as I did. I went to this site and downloaded the Gingerbread RUU and followed the instructions, ie put it on my sd card and boot into recovery.

However, this caused me to lose superuser and clockwork mod. When I boot into HBoot, it still tells me I have S-Off. Can I still use revolutionary to install CWM? Or should I flash the recovery image as outlined in rivera82falcon's xda post? [How to] Root Your DInc2 Tutorial! (2.3.3 GB Only) - xda-developers
