All I did was unlock the bootloader and now I am stuck in a bootloop that won't get past the Google screen with the unlocked padlock.

So much for this being simple.

Anyone who can help?

Well two things, the first boot after unlocking the bootloader took an extremely long time for me, something like 5 minutes. Second, have you tried a battery pull if it really is stuck? That often clears these things up.

Had the same problem. Go back in and lock it again. reboot will still loop, but then go back to fastboot. run the unlock command and let it finish. it does take a long time.

hth

Does it keep looping at the Google logo for a while? that is all I get...google logo...black screen...google logo...black screen...etc....

Mine doesn't even reboot when I unlock and then select yes. It just takes me back to the bootloader screen.

Tried the lock and unlock a few times...and lo and behold on the third try I am now on the pretty splashing colors screen. I will give it a while...

I am experiencing the same... splash color screen looping.

Is this supposed to happen?

yea i locked. i restored. So worse case scenario, i go back to VZ and get a new one lol. But im gonna update it and try the unlock process and root again.

Patience is the key...takes quite a while to get by color screen.

^^^^^ Mine too
Mine did the slpash color screen then google unlock then color screen again like 3 times before it loaded up , only took a min maybe 2 though

Patience, patience, patience.

I went through one VERY long boot loop, the second one was a little shorter, then I finally got to the sign in screen.

It kills me to wait so long watching a boot screen, but it didn't take any intervention to get past the looping.

So now im good. The problem is no i cant update. It shows the android with the triangle. Any solutions?

That is recovery mode. Have you tried a battery pull? Or battery pull and then force into bootloader and try locking and unlocking again?

This is much trickier than I thought for such simple steps. I have since rooted using the Koush method (outstanding and easy) https://plus.google.com/103583939320326217147/posts/1Jsh9xPwnQP

And now I am downloading all of my Dropbox data via Titanium to start restoring some apps (no data...scared to try).

Yea, the problem was i had no recovery i think lol. I think im good. I started all over. Unlocked bootloader, rooted, flashed CWM, and just flashed Android Revolution. I think im good. thank you all for the help. I think my precious is ok.

I have the same problem, stuck on google logo with unlocked logo, but it keeps looping onto the screen over and over. I cannot get anywhere with it. the worst part is, the computer won't even recognize the device. I plug it in and can do nothing with ADB. Any advice on how to recover at this point? or maybe how to kick the phone past the loop?

I'm having the exact same problem. I can get into the stock recovery via voldown+power but not sure what I can do from there.

I just ran a system wipe/ recovery using the bootloader menu... back up and running.

All i did was get back into bootloader by holding both VOL up and VOL down then power. once in, i went used vol down to scroll to recover, and then used power to accept. after it ran (5 minutes) it booted fine!
