Stuttering 60 fps video after 5.1 update

Hi guys,

I recently upgraded to 5.1 on my Verizon 2013 moto X and experience this issue. Whenever I watch video on youtube at 720p60, it keeps stuttering and skipping frames. I did not experience this before the update. Also, if you guys are familiar with Twitch, I have the same issue watching with Source quality, only this time the video completely freezes (only audio playing). If someone experiences the same issue please tell me how to fix it! I tried clearing phone cached, reinstalling youtube and all but it does not work

I have this same problem, it is like the CPU can't handle the video. I'd like to know if there's a solution to this also.

After I read this post I decided to give it a try. I didn't have any issues watching a 720p at 60fps. It was just as smooth as always no skipping.

This is most likely the YouTube App. Try wiping app data/cache and see if it helps.

Also, see if this 720P 60FPS video I found out Daily Motion freezes. It does not for me. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2wsab8
