Subfolders in documents library

I tried to add a subfolder to my documents folder in order to organize documents but it doesn't show up when I go to the documents library. Is it possible to add subfolders?

It is a known limitation based on what I just discovered on the Amazon message boards. I plan on reporting it as a desired feature... since it would make the Fire more useful.

Apparently all of the lower Kindles do support folders...
