Well, just tried this with no luck.

Downloaded app from app store, downloaded andromeda from app store, installed andromeda on computer, enabled USB debugging on phone, ran andromeda on desktop. Phone seemed to recognize and install.

Downloaded a substratum Samsung theme and compiled and enabled. Rebooted and stuff installed from andromeda was no longer present (said disconnected and could not load theme) and theme not applied.

Just wondering if anyone has had some luck and if so how.

You got farther than me.
I could not get it to activate with my PC.
Any tips?
Here's some info on your situation.

Yeah. I was able to get everything to load, download a theme, compile and enable, but did not appear to actually take. No error message. When I rebooted the andromeda subsystem was removed because it acted like it needed me to reload andromeda and needless to say the theme was not applied. Will keep an eye on XDA to see if someone figures it out.

i have it working on my s9+ after running the build a couple time to get the errors out then reboot and run andromeda and all is working

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong to even get Andromeda to activate on mine. :(
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Did you purchase the required Samsung Substratum add on?

EDIT: Nevermind. I just saw that Andromeda is the add on for Oreo.

I did.
I am missing a step somewhere...

Are you opening the start Andromeda file directly from the directory to which you installed it? I had this issue the first time. I was just running it from the start menu and it would never work. As soon as, I opened the actual directory and did it, worked fine.

Also, did you you give your computer debugging permission? It'll ask the first time you try to connect it and if you accidentally closed it out or something before giving it permission, then your phone is blocking it.

I think this may be the thing.
I am either missing or cannot open the .dll file.
