Phone: Advance 5.0 Pro
O/S: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
Took up the phone and woke it from standby, tried to access internet via WiFi and no-go. Confirmed WiFi connection but also noticed battery charge percentage was 88% initially and falling at a rate of around 1% every 20 seconds. Rebooted the phone when it reached 55% and there it stuck afterwards with WiFi working again.
Checked battery usage for most apps but didn't see anything out of the ordinary, most were saying 0% used since last charge. Watched a Netflix movie for around 10 minutes but the percentage still didn't fall below 55% so decided to power off then on but that didn't change anything.
Connected the charger to see if the percentage would at least rise and it did. Then decided to remove charger and discharge the battery when percentage reached 59% by watching Netflix movies again. Left playing until it shutdown by itself. Long story short, below are screenshots of the scenario with the steep battery drain occurring somewhere between 9AM and 10AM.
The somewhat dated article in the link below suggests this is a know issue with some apps (especially Google apps) but I'm wondering whether it could be faulty hardware in my case.

Any other thoughts on this?
