Sudden speaker distortion buzzing on Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Yesterday, my phone speaker was suddenly distorted, and buzzing, like it was blown. I hardly play music, and when I do, it's not loud. In fact, media sound is rarely turned up over 50%. What would cause this, and also, how do I fix this? I'm not tech savvy, so if this isn't an easy fix, is my only choice the repairman?

Is sound normal over wired or Bluetooth headsets or speakers? If so, then the speaker probably failed in some way -- it doesn't have to be from blasting music. Perhaps there was some water damage, or maybe the part was defective.

Does sound normal over wired, thanks. No water damage, I'm very careful with my phone. perhaps defective. On to the repairman...
