super disappointed in LG

I'm a former Verizon rep, I've seen a few customers come into the store because their displays cracked while out in the cold.

Two guys were snowmobiling in below zero temperatures, phones in their coat pockets, both had a cracked display. One was an iPhone, the other an Android. I think it was Samsung or Motorola.

It sucks, but I don't think it's the result of LG making a low quality phone.

Did you try taking it to your carrier and explaining what happened?

We had quite a few weeks of up to minus 18° Celsius here in Austria and a lot of snow.
I was out and about with my 20 month old son, who was riding his new sledge for the first time.

Needless to say, the V30 came in handy for taking lot's of pics and vids.

The cold didn't harm it though.
Maybe there is a possibility to argue, that if other phones don't experience this problem, this really might be a problem of your device and therefore a matter of warranty?
