Superuser force closes on every root app

Please someone help me, I rooted my 3vo with Hboot 1.5 its unlocked with s-on. I have run clean rome 2.6 and worked fine for a little while, now all of a sudden I cant boot into recovery. And everytime I open a root app Superuser force closes. Am I missing something here, is the SU file supposed to be place some where specific in the sd card? Ive heard in the root of the SD car but if that just mean putting it in the sd card but not in a folder than its there I even extracted it. Please help

FYI...the update to SU is causing the problem. "Uninstall" the update, then clear cache and dalvik, reboot and should be good to go. Happened to me too and this worked for me.

I uninstalled the updates, cache and devlik, and it stilll wont boot into recovery, and still force closes everysingle time. Am I supose to remove the SU zip from my sd card or something. When I check Root verified it says I have root access, but this is what gets denied... Alternate su binary location: ls -l /sbin:su/sbin/su: Permission denied. Any other suggestions

Actually ok Thanks for that the SU is working now, at least for now... But booting in recovery mode is still not working I will select to do so but just boots up normally, and fastboot is not checked. Even if I boot in Hboot then select recovery it bypasses it...

From homescreen hit menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > scroll to Superuser > Then "Clear Data" That worked for me.

Glad it is somewhat working for you. Not sure on the booting in recovery issue you are having. I just know that the last two updates for SU have major issues. I am seeing it in multiple postings here and xda. Hopefully the developer will fix the issue soon.

Then uninstall updates, and it goes away. There is an easy way to get into recovery using adb. (Assuming you kno what that is)
I'm on 1.4 so no way for me to test it but does quickboot from the market work on 1.5 to boot into recovery? Easiest way yet if so

You should probably go in market, search superuser,click the installed superuser and make sure that the automatic updating is unchecked. After of course you go into menu/settings/applications/manage applications/all/market/uninstall updates
