Download root checker from the play store to double check for root. When you open the app click verify root access. If a pop up window opens that says Root Check Basic is requesting SuperUser access, then you are rooted. Go ahead and select yes and let it run and the app will tell you the same thing. If it isn't rooted, the app will tell you that too.
