Just watching a little bit of the Grammy's when they had the bunch of singers and Neil Diamond sing Sweet Caroline. Now it seems as though almost everyone knows Sweet Caroline or parts of it. As a Long Islander, it seems like an unspoken, unwritten rule that, to be considered a "true" Long Islander (Lawn Guylander), you need to know all or much of Billy Joel's Piano Man.
Just my thoughts.
What are your thoughts on the Grammy's and are there any "unspoken" music or media "rules" to be considered a "true" Place-er from where you're from?
