Swiftkey X keyboard not appearing

I installed Swiftkey X from the amazon app store today. I followed all the set up instructions after installing it. The HTC stock keyboard still appears where ever I am going to type something. I powered my phone down and restarted. Swiftkey X keyboard still does not show up when I am going to type something. Anyone else having this problem?

I installed it since was the free app off amazon today to. After following the setup instructions ,

,Did you also change the input method?
By long pressing where you would type message and selecting input method>then selecting SwiftKey X ?

I downloaded this as well but it's not letting me download the initial language pack. I've got CM7 RC3 on my DInc. I've rebooted multiple times as well as tried to download over WiFi and 3G. Any ideas?

It took a few minutes to download the language package on mine(wasnt on wifi's tho). I thought it was stuck at 30% but after a minute it continued on til it installed.

So is the download progress bar stuck ,while its downloading ? or something else?

It doesn't even start downloading. I just get an error telling me that the language pack can't be downloaded. Sometimes the app force closes as well.

I was just talking to someone in my huddle and they said after clearing data a few times the download finally started.

What do you mean clear data? Like clear cache in recovery?

I got it working. I just fixed permissions in recovery and tried it again and it went smoothly. Thanks for the help.

Anyone else notice a significant battery drain after using SwiftKey X? The last two nights my battery has drained completely while I'm sleeping. According to Android Assistant, my current top battery usage is by SwiftKey X, and I haven't even used the keyboard since I last unplugged it from the charger?
