Swipe left

Recently, the swipe left of notifications to remove them has resulted in opening the notification. What can I change to illiminate that happening? Thanks

Is it possible you're not completely swiping in that direction? On my 3 XL, I can still swipe in either direction to dismiss.

The swipe works but I need to press harder than I used to. I guess I'm just too fussy. Thanks for your responses.

Do you have a screen protector on? That might mess with the screen's touch sensitivity.

No screen protector, but it was that screen sensitivity sensor that I was looking for.
