Swipe on Thunderbolt

Ok I downloaded to SD, extracted using astro to its own file and set default as swype, but still not coming up when I go to type a new message. What am I missing?

step1
menu>settings>language keyboard>check the box for swype (or make sure it's checked)

and/or

step2
long press in the text input window>input method and switch to swype

When I double click on the download I get "file type exe not found" details show the file ends with .exe

Which one did you dl? nm, they are both the same. You got the wrong download then. Try again.

the one i posted was the EVO version

Thanks for posting this info...
I am currently using the Swype beta and actually like it and don't mind the auto space... The Beta does have the mic button, so I may try out the EVO too...
Anything the EVO has that they Beta doesn't (aside from auto space)?

Thanks again DroidX!!!

Soooooo, I install swype beta, and not only does auto space and cap work... it has a working mic, and it is a bigger layout overall. Nice!

Thanks asnyder!

Awesome! Glad I could help. :)

Is this the DroidX swype? The X has the mic button for voice, but the EVO Swype does not. I want the mic button.

Bump for mic button please

Although this EVO version is 100x better than the Thunderbolt beta I've been using... if you reboot your phone it stops learning words unless you reinstall it... and loses its license each time you reboot as well
