Hey guys. Of course I am using atnt 4 gig plan but I'm running through data very rapidly. Was wondering if there is any way to drop down to possibly 3g connection to save my self for getting charged overages .. If possible would this actually save data?

If you want to try it, it's via Settings, Tethering & Networks, Mobile Networks, Network Mode.
Also of course in Settings, Mobile Data, you can set a limit to your data use by setting the sliders. The yellow slider warns you when you reach it, and perhaps set a bit higher, at the red limit your data use will be cut off.
I can't see how data use via 3G rather than 4G would be less, as long as you're doing the same things, but I stand ready to be corrected. I should have thought you would simply do those things slower.

I looked there and didn't see any option for 3G...there is Global, LTE/CDMA, and LTE/GSM/UMTS...aren't those all 4G networks?...I am curious how long my battery lasts on 3G.

Can you take a screen shot of that menu and post it? This are all 4G. There should be something to force 3g.
