Switch from CDMA to GSM

One of my staff just purchased a used Verison Galaxy Nexus. It is on CDMA but has the GSM slot. We have a SIM installed. How do you switch the phone from CDMA to GSM please?

The SIM Slot is likely for the LTE Expansion SIM. My friend had a LG Thunderbolt from VZW that had a SIM Slot and that was where they put the LTE SIM at.

The Verizon Gnex is a CDMA/ 4gLTE ONLY devic! The sim slot for 4g LTE ONLY it is not a world phone and does not have a GSM radio. you can buy an unlocked GSM only version of the Gnex directly from google : https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ature=device-featured&hl=en-US&token=rF37umhT..

I have a Samsung Note 4 Verizon phone. It is dual cdma/gsm. Since it was on Verizon which is cdma how do I make it work on Cricket Wireless which is GSM. Cricket said it was locked but Verizon said it wasn't! IMEI is clean....please help.
