Switch to LG G2

So if I want KitKat, the order would be:
1) Install KK
2) Root
3) Install custom recovery
4) Install xposed framework
5) xposed mods
Correct?

There is currently no root method available for 20c (KitKat).
Follow these steps if you are on 10o.
(1) Root using ioroot. There's a YouTube video that goes through the entire process.
(2) Update software to 10q. May have to contact AT&T and have them push update.
(3) OTA update for 20c (KK) should be made available (if not have AT&T push it). You should still have root after this update.
There is no custom recovery for KitKat and it only allows flashing custom ROMs if you're still on 10d software.
If you want to experience Xposed you should download and install the latest version of Xposed installer from Xda. Then start using the Xposed modules you want. There's also G2 Xposed app which has a lot of nice settings.

When I had the KK update I only noticed a few things that changed.
(1) Knock on/off was a bit more responsive.
(2) all white statusbar icons
(3) camera upgrade
(4) new quick toggles
(5) new screen contrast settings
(6) bluetooth printing option
I didn't think the update was worth losing custom recovery. Ended up flashing back to 10d so I could have custom recovery and flash ROMs.

I'm in a similar boat. Looking at replacing my iPhone 5, and got drawn back to Android.
My wife bought a G2, and I'm in lust!! Trying to decide between that and the N5.
If I buy the G2, it'll be the first time ever we've had 2 of the same device. I usually try to keep it mixed up for experience.

Both are a moot point for me, tbh. I'm an odd use case, but I rarely use my camera, and my phone lives on a charger.
My biggest draw to the N5 is the vanilla experience, but the G2 has some features I like as well.
This is going to sound dumb, but the biggest draw to the G2 right now is the fact that both cords plug into the same end.
My phone lives on the dash of my semi, streaming audio and gps. It hooks to the stereo via auxiliary input, and plugs into an adapter in the dash. It's an OCD issue, but having them come out both sides annoys me for 12 hours a day.

I just ordered one of these, but my reasons were battery life, camera, and small bezels.
I swapped my Galaxy Note 3 for the LG L2, and could not be be more happy.

The Note 3 is so much taller, wider and heavier. The G2 makes a lot more sense to me as a device you're always going to have with you. Still has a large screen, too.
Yeah another thing I like is how they put small bezels on it to make the screen as big as they could without making the phone bigger then necessary.
