Switch to S9+ or wait for the Note9?

I think the 'flat' phone link that was posted is referring to the SM-G8850. A sepetate device altogether.... Was initially rumoured to an S9/S9+ hybrid but now looking like a 6.3" flat screen but NOT the Note - so no S Pen etc.

I picked up the S9 last weekend. It's much better than I expected. I personally prefer the overall experience over the 2 XL I had previously. The S9 feels like a 2018 flagship. I have no regrets. I had the Note8 when it launched but found it too big for daily use. S9 is the perfect size for me. It all comes down to screen size and whether or not you'll actively use the stylus.

Well, if the leak is true, the Note 9 HAS A FLAT SCREEN!! If this leak is true then indeed you NEED to wait for the Note 9. Flat, large screen with the Spen is amazing. This will blue the s9 plus away. Shouldn't even be a contender.

That leak isn't about the Note 9. It's about an entirely different phone lol. The Note 9 will have a curved display. This is Samsung's flagship hallmark that isn't going away anytime soon is my guess.

Where are you getting your rumor of a flat screen Note 9? You keep pointing to an article about the upgraded Asian market S9.

I use the s8+ as my daily. It's been a great performer. I skipped the s9+, minimal upgrade. But the note9 definitely holds my interest. The stereo speakers are very welcomed & if it has the proposed larger battery I'm all in. I will pre-order for the first time, and never owned a note before. I really enjoy all the premium features Samsung has to offer!

Looks curved to me. I'm sure if it was flat they would have made a big deal about it. There's absolutely no credible information pointing to a flat Note 9. It's just wishful thinking and mistaking that article about the upgraded S9 for the Note 9.

If you want a note (totally different from the S line - go to the store and play with a Note 8 to see if you fall in love with the things you can do with the S-Pen, or if you think it will grow old without ever being used), I'd wait until at least a month after the Note 9 is released. Samsung has been known to release some dogs, and never really get them working. (And even though they offered replacement models after the Note 7 fun, many people were still dissatisfied. An S7?That's not a Note anything.) I did the same thing for the S8 - and ended up, after years of Samsungs, with a Pixel 2.

My take is this. IF YOUR ON T-Mo It will be black or gray as they don't do colors. I like my note8 but it tends to lag, or doesn't react when I press the screen. Im going to wait until after the fall I want to see everything before I out down another grand, for a phone that will be obsolete in 4months.

I just switched from my 64GB Note 8 to 255GB S9P... I would wait for S10...
