Switching from 4g to 3g manually since ics

How in the world do u manually switch from 4g to 3g on ics....cant find it

There are a couple of apps in the Play Store that do this directly. The user interface to do this by hand can be found here, among other places (that article references the RAZR, but the procedure is identical).

We have been using the LTE on/off app to make the switch. It's in the google play market here - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...m5ldC5hbmRpcmMubHRlb25mb2ZmIl0&token=5yfSM93I.

I should mention we have been using this on our Droid Rzrs, Rzr Maxx, and Bionic phones. It's a battery saver if you don't need 4G.

As mentioned previously, LTEonoff App in the Google Play Store will allow the phone to go from 4G to 3G. On the Bionic, change the setting to "CDMA auto (PRL)" and you will have forced 3G only.
