Switching to Gemini Calendar

It has multiple alarms for each event, configurable default alarms (up to three per event!), I can select only my Google calendar so I don't have to keep selecting it every time I create an event, and I can set events to occur every M-W-F for example. I have tried Jorte and it doesn't do anything for me, and while Gemini has crappy widgets it does load fast and the main screen though kind of fugly does allow you to easily choose the date with your thumb and see the events up top. It seems really well designed except for the skin. I feel like finally my calendar isn't crippled and broken.

One question: are there any calendar widgets that read from the default calendar dbs but allow you to specify what app to open when pressed? The CalWidget I use won't do this (only opens the default calendar app), and the Gemini widget is pretty lame.
