Wow I heard a lot of talk of this swype n sign up 6 months ago but after waiting so long I forgot about it n finally my day has come n it was worth the wait

Once you get the hang of it, you will be 10x faster..Just give it a few days using it.
Agreed, once you realize that you don't have to be very accurate at all you will probably start to like it more. After using it for a few months now, I can't imagine going back to the stock keyboard, I am way faster with swype.

We just got emails tonight because they reopened the beta. Been waiting since August.
There is no way to calibrate...move the speed vs accuracy slider to the right. That should help you.

I just signed up for Swype last week. Guess I won't get an invite this go round. Bummer, I'm using a different swype type program and it works good, but I can't wait to get my finger on the real thing.

Im gonna tip all you off right now about not posting any swype apks, or explaining how to get the cracked versions. Its againsts the rules here, due to swype trying to crack down on pirated versions.
That being said swype beta is open so head over to their official site and get your swype on (legally) while you can.

Just got my beta invite in what seems like a couple of months!
Not complaining though.
Have to get used to the no directional arrows, for my mistakes.(which are many)
i guess i just have to type with it to get used to it.

I was in the same boat, never got an email from them. Just go log in on there site, and click resend the email. You'll get emailed the link to the download. I just did this and it running on my phone as we speak.

This was the beest post i've read in a while!!! I had a Droid X and have an Epic! Got used to swype pretty fast and after purchasing the Evo last week I was really struggling with the crapware that is the sense keyboard! I have no idea why people think it is soooo great. worst keyboard i have used so far! (ok rant over) CM 6.1 keyboard seemed very good (droidx multi-touch keyboard i think) but was still missing swype bad. I signed up for swype beta last week and was disappointed that invites went out and i ddin't get one... But after reading this post i logged back in to swype beta's web site and hit the "resend email" link and now i'm back to rocking swype!!!! i don't know if it's the fact that i had to do with out it for a week or that the update made a difference but i'm loving swype more than ever! Thanks!!!!!
