For those that didn't know... You can pull up a few extra keyboards using the swype keyboard.

Swype from the swype key (in the lower left corner) to the ABC key and it will open a selection keyboard complete with arrows.

Swype from the swype key up diagonally through several keys and it will open a new, better numbers pad like on a calculator.

If you have any tips please share.

Nice. I didn't know about the arrows. I knew that you could get the numbers if you pressed the symbol key the long pressed the abc.

I like the swype to numbers though. Thanks.

The Swype Icon has a help feature that explains a lot of shortcuts, for instance how to Swype ALL CAPS (swype straight up then loop back in a circle) or a Single cap (swype straight up and then down to the next letter) or how to turn off autospacing.

The hint I really want is to delete words without typing them in, highlighting them and then hitting the swype key, especially since that only works a quarter of the time.

Access to the swype dictionary (or at least the user swype dictionary) would be very helpful.

I wish it were possible to turn off auto entry to this dictionary. when the lady uses the phone she types on my swype keyboard and adds random mistakes.

If I type too fast on the keyboard and hit space, it auto enters the word in the dictionary. They really should have a better way to manage it instead of me trying to swype "you" and it coming up as "yoi" or "tou" from my previous errors.

Try setting the speed from fast to error tolerance. Been messing with that today. Seems to be a bit more accurate. Not any slower for me.
