Swype issue...finger calibration?

I've noticed that when I use the swype keyboard, as I drag my finger around, I can see the line behind my finger sort of squiggling...not making a straight line in between the letters. Of coarse, this causes some letters to be off. A few other times, in the dialer app, I've pressed a number and had the one below it light up. That could be my own carelessness, but I pretty sure the touch sensitivity is off on the dragging for swype. I was wondering if anyone else is seeing this, and if there is any way to calibrate a screen to your touch?

I think this screen is wayyy more accurate than typing or swyping on my DX.
