Swype (*Official)

Has anybody used SlideIT? I'm curious how existing Swype users feel SlideIT. I'm thinking of giving it a try because my Swype has been FC'ing more and more lately, it seems, and has been slow to respond when initially opened.

I was one of the original pushers of Swype, and I have come to like SlideIT better. Here is a thread on SlideIT.

Just a clarification, SlideIt is not a new version of Swype, but a different company with a slightly different approach to the same idea. If you are good at swype, you will have some difficulty transistioning to SlideIt, but I think for a new users, SlideIt is probably easier to use.

I don't think I could live without swype now !

It's mostly useful for folks, like me, who are trying to preserve their unlimited data and, as you said, upgrade addicts. The option would be fairer for everyone else if our monthly bills were lower. If we aren't subsidizing equipment, we should pay less.

can someone explain this swype its was on my phone when i got it but i see it has alot of permissions tht im not wanting other people to use.
