AC Question

when i swype "and" i get "abd". how can i remove abd from my dictionary?

If you go to Settings>Language and input, you should see your keyboards. If you click on the settings icon next to the keyboard you use (should look like either a gear or a slider icon) you can then access the settings. Once there, there should be a section for the user dictionary (this may also be under any advanced settings as well). Click on that and then you can see all added words. Guessing here, but deletion is probably a long press.

Even simpler:

For now, to remove a word from your Swype dictionary follow these steps:

1. Enter a text field
2. Type out the word you want to delete (such as "abd")
3. Long press on "abd" in the Word Choice List (above the keyboard)
4. Press "ok" on the prompt to remove "abd" FOREVER.

In the long run "abd" is already out of the Swype dictionary and won't be coming back!

Hope that helps!

Omg! I have needed this for forever! Thank you, thank you! I always got 'abd' when I SWYPE 'and'. I thought i was an expert. I am humbled...lol. Just corrected getting 'Ann' when I try to SWYPE 'an'. Nice.
