Syn sub folders in outlook - how is this done?

Just bought a LG G4. cannot get sub folder in outlook to sync with phone. can this be done?

Not cheap but as of a year ago the best email client to use with MS Exchange, Outlook. If you find anything better let me know. I'm not sure how it handles subfolders, but Google it and let us know.

Are you using the Outlook app? Gmail app?

Are you using a protocol that allows for folder syncing? (Exchange or IMAP, not POP)
