Sync contacts with mac?

I just switched from an iPhone 5 to this Note 2. I really love the big screen and the OS as well.

1 problem I'm having is keeping my contacts in sync with contacts on my Mac.

Is there an app for this?

You can sync through Google Contacts I believe. You don't need an app.

I'm using Smooth Sync for iCloud and it's been working good.

Thanks! This is a great concept. Installation was easy and smooth. I can see that it's working in the background and pops up as an editor. But it's been hours now and new contacts that I put on the note 2 are not showing up back at my Mac.

They should, right? That's what iCloud sinking of contacts should be all about, right?

Thanks! Pointing me to iTunes was a big help. Got it working now, thanks to you.

So I've uninstalled installed smoothSync.

You can set up the Mac address book to sync to google contacts and vice versa wirelessly. Then those contacts would be pushed to the Note 2. No need to involve iTunes at all. It's just a question of whether or not you want to sync the Mac with Google or iCloud.
