Sync is Currently Experiencing Problems

So I have been having this problem for a while

Everything else in my goggle account is syncing with no issues just seems to be a contacts issue

I have removed the account and re-added it and the same issue occurs

Screenshot below if anyone else has had this issue your help is appreciated

Yes and the same issue happens immediately after re-checking

I have this issue before when I deleted lots of contacts from Google account.
I have tried restart my phone and forced to stop google sync service.
Then wait for a while, Google sync contacts resume.
May I know your software version.

I did restart. Same thing happens.
