Sync my calendar and contacts from Outlook to phone and from phone to outlook wireless.

My first smart phone – HTC One M8 – would like to sync my calendar and contacts from Outlook to phone and from phone to outlook wireless. Preferably via wifi.
I tried the HTC Sync – it does not work. Then I tried CompanionLink – it worked but not happy with it. Once you go through the steps to sync the first time via wifi it will keep working perfectly as long as you stay in range of the wifi. If you leave the wifi area you have to pair the phone and computer again to make it reconnect. This becomes a major pain in my case as I have to go through this process several times a day.
Hoping by now someone has found something that works reliably via wifi preferably.

How do you make the HTC One M8 automatically reconnect with your Wi-Fi once it has lost connection?

While I have tried WiFi, I have an older HTC EVO LTE and the HTC Sync seems to work consistenly with no problem (although wired). Here's a site (Sync Android/Droid with Outlook/Exchange) listing many programs. I'm getting a new phone tomorrow and trying to decide what to use.

CompanionLink contacted me 10/17 - they had me download the latest update dated 10/15. Now everything has been working. So far it has been working perfect.

Good to see this has been working.
I was using the M7 last year , good phone but some connection issues sometimes too.

I heard about CompanionLink but I ended up buying a cheap plugin for Outlook.
EVO Collaborator for Outlook.

This lets me sync nicely. Also works great for iPhone and BB as well as other services.

I use a program called Akruto that works great with Wi Fi synching to Android, WP and Apple for those that have multiple OS phones. I've had it for about 3 years and it works every time I need it to sync or it will do it automatically when you are in range of your WiFi.

I also use Kies to sync using USB cable when WiFi isn't available. Both work really well.
