Sync Note 7 Contact and Calendar with Tab Pro 12.2

Hi:
As I poke and prod my Note 7 and try to figure out its features, I realized I need to sync my Contact and Calendar info on Note 7 with my Galaxy Tab pro 12.2.
I synced the Note 7 with my MS Outlook 2007 calendar and Contacts using Smart Switch on my laptop. Now I need to sync my tablet with my phone directly (if I can). I have both devices on the same wifi network.
Any and all assistance is welcome.

I would sync both to Google contacts

Thanks. I was looking for a more private option that did not include third party services.
But your suggestion is perfectly viable solution.

It took me a little time but it was very easy. I sync my Note 7 and laptop (win10 pro) using smart switch. I had to remember to start smart switch on Note 7 from Settings-> Backup/Restore. Laptop has the app (for PC) downloaded from Samsung website. (They have an app for the Mac as well) I had to use the USB cable to connect the two.
Between Note 7 and Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 again I used the smart switch but making sure my wifi on both are on the same network (I have two 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) and I am able to pick and choose what data I wish to sync (in may case that was calendar and contacts). Easy now that i know how.
