If I go for the oneplus 7, how would I put all of my media files on it from a mac? I know there's an app called Android file transfer, but I could never get it to work. I simply removed my SD card, downloaded onto that, and popped it back in. I wouldn't have that luxery with the 7.

An option could be to get a USB C- To USB A-female and plug a USB drive to that and download the content or adversely an SD card reader and do the same... Just an option

If you go to the OnePlus Community Forum site, in the OnePlus 6/6t General threads you will find a sticky that provides a way to "Move from iPhone to OnePlus via OnePlus Switch (Beta)."

In terms of music specifically, there's an app called iSyncr that works excellently for wireless music/playlist syncing.

....and Android File Transfer works fine for moving pictures and videos if you follow the instructions closely and properly. Generally there's a setting or two in Android settings you need to adjust, along with giving the phone and computer permission to interact with each other.

Can't you just plug the phone into a usb port and access it as removable storage to copy/paste files and folders? That's what i do on Windows...

If you use Android File Transfer app for Mac, it can.

Yep, tested it on my 2012 rMBP just now. It took a tiny bit of fiddling but basically once connected my 6T decides to go straight to charge mode rather than File Transfer mode so I then have to toggle things back to File Transfer mode and then the Mac is able to access the files.

Ok, I just used my send anyware app to test if it will send my high resolution music files and it worked. So I can do it wirelessly with that app, and I can use isyncr to send my iTunes files. So, oneplus 7pro, looks like we're good to go.
