Synching calender with contacts

I transferred all my contacts over from a BlackBerry Bold 9650 via bluetooth. All the information came over but people's birthday which are listed under their contact info isn't appearing on my calender, and I don't see a way to synch it. Any advice? Thanks.

Did you put the contacts into Google or the local "Phone" database?

If you put the contacts into Google, and you use a Google Calendar, you can add a "Contacts' Birthdays and Events" calendar to your Google calendar. That will put your contacts' birthdays/anniversaries on your calendar. To add that calendar you need to go to the Google Calendar website.
