synchronizing s4 contacts with tab pro

My tab pro contacts sync to Google but my s4 contacts do not. Only a subset sync even though the contacts field is checked.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you tell us what account the non-syncing contacts on your S4 are associated with? If they're in the "Phone Account" or "Device Account," those contacts won't sync with Google. They have to be associated with your Google account in order to sync. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to simply change a contact from the Phone Account to your Google account. Instead, you have to export those Phone Account contacts to a .VCF file, then import them back into your Google account.
