Syncing bluetooth with my Ford's system

There are some Sync updates that are dealer updates only. For the most part, the customer does the update with a thumb drive. "MY" dealer will do it under warranty if you're having a problem. I was. Every now and then the (usb) part of the system would restart. Service manager said "that's a problem" and warranty took care of the update

Wow! You know you can go to any dealership and have that done - you do not have to go where you bought your vehicle. But, you have to go into service, not to the sales people.

I know i can go to any dealer i want, but i just said f it. Its not life hampering to me. And I didn't see a sales guy, it was a service writer who told me this. I've got 3 months left on my lease. If I keep it longer then i'll see about making sure the updates are up to date. If not, next F150 will or should have most current updates.
