After a few tries, I no longer have any problems syncing Contacts FROM Outlook TO S3, but calendar syncing is a nightmare. Albeit very careful to click the correct 'direction' box, I ended up with customer schedules being changed on my desktop, which took ages to sort out. My old Blackberry synced calendar perfectly. Not much information comes out of Kies whenever there's an upgrade to firmware or software as to what issues these resolve. Running Windows 7 and MS Office 2007, would love to upgrade to Office 365 but won't be doing that in a hurry until I manage to find out how to avoid calendar syncing issues. It seems to handle recurring diary entries but NOT if there are exceptions such as holiday or other one-off cancellations. Wondered if anyone else has encountered this?

Oh, I got rid of EVERYTHING connected with Blackberry when I was having trouble at first, and it then synced contacts no problem.
I use Office 365 and have never had any issues syncing calendar, tasks, contacts & email including folders. Syncs both ways, phone to PC and vice versa. Since I was using Office 365 prior to getting my S3 I've never tried to sync Outlook w/o using the MS Exchange server. I would recommend upgrading to Office 365 as besides eliminating your sync problems the increased functionality for running a business is well worth the minimal cost. The scalability of Office 365 should cover just about anything a small business needs including video conferencing, a hosted website & documents stored in the cloud for access by anyone in the organization.
I've been thinking of doing that - upgrading to 365. The only thing that has held me back was the fear of losing my Outlook 2007 calendar of customer appointments. Any advice? Thanks.
