So I have been using the basic Calendar widget app on my home screen, so I can always see my next upcoming apointment. Thats great and all, But I want to do more, Using that same type of style (An app that shows upcoming "x")

So I started playing with evernote, and task apps etc etc.. And I basically havnt found anything that is doing what I want.. I did however get pretty close tonight using gmail and playing around a bit.

Basically what I want is to show my calendar events. Then be able to show a todo list (things I need to get done today) that I can "tic" off as I go though the day. that syncs with google tasks. And then also another tasks lists that has things that dont need to be done today, and dont need a due date... So this is where I could use a gmail expert as well.

So I had a calendar event in my gmail calendar. Then I realized that I can add a task to get done that day. However. the problem is when I set the task for that day, it marks is as an "all day event", So when I look at my phone it shows the task on the widget instead of the calendar event. It would be cool if it showed both. But no that doesnt work... then I tried clicking on the task for that day and removing the date out of it, but then it removes it completely..

Hope this makes sense.. If not... Then how about this... how about people posting some links to youtube videos of people showing how they have their calendar events and tasks set up for the best productivity possible. Thats basically what im looking for.

Thanks.
