Syncing with a Mac?

BB finally released a decent app to sync data (contacts / calendar) with a Mac and I'm now reluctant to change to a phone where that's not so easy....again. Do the Android phones (like this one?) have a Mac sync app? Or is a separate party app (like Missing Sync) required?

If you don't want to use Missing Sync, there are alternatives. Android is cloud-based, so your calendar and contacts sync with GMail automatically. If you Google search "sync google calendar with ical" you will find guides to set up iCal to sync with your Google Calendar. The same goes for OSX's Address Book - it can sync to your Google contacts.
