Hello Everyone,

I just got a droid X2 and being a dummy, I removed the blur_xxx.apk files... Does anyone have a copy of these files that they can send me?

Did you make a backup of the phone before removing the files? If so, you can restore the backup and give it another go. Here is a link to the System Dump Jerry posted a while back, see if the .apks you need are there:

No, being a dummy I thought the factory reset was "safe" lol, I just learned that it wasn't haha. Oh well, that's the wonderful thing about IT, get paid to break things!

I just found that system dump and I'm downloading it now, so I should be good to go, thanks.

Good to hear. In the future pull the apps you want to remove and keep them saved

yo! you dont have to remove files or back them up. from now on...just add ".old" to the stuff you dont want. that way if you mess up and something doesnt work you can go back and just take off the ".old"
