System UI has stopped.

I've had my replacement 6p for just two days now. I have constant problems with the screen going black with no response when using the fingerprint scanner or the power button. I have to constantly hold the power button down for about 5 seconds, then get a System UI has stopped error. Anybody experience this? What does it mean. Very annoying because the phone just stays frozen.

Try performing a factory reset.

I'm wondering if doze has anything to do with it. It usually occurs when its not in use and laying flat for at least 5 minutes or so. Once I pick it up, completely frozen with a black screen.
