System update Galaxy S6 Edge

So my husband has the galaxy s6 edge and had an update a couple of days ago and we can see his new icons and the android pay app which I know are both new but he doesn't have the advanced text messaging or the video calls. My upgrade worked on my s6 active so what gives? Anyone experienced this?

my wife had the same issue. We had to restart the phone and go outside to turn it on again.. try that.. what carrier?
