It's gonna be the longest 4 days of my life especially if it resolves the connectivity issues and 4g issues for me as well.
It is easier to do on a phone from Google than Verizon, correct?
I don't believe so. You don't need root or an unlocked bootloader to sideload. It works with stock recovery. I don't see why it would be more difficult on the Verizon version?
Double tap 2 wake was the only thing I liked on the horrible piece of crap that was the Lucky Goldstar G3. Ugliest UI on a phone that ever was. Buggy as hell. Washed out screen. Uh, I get the shivers just thinking about that phone. Even with the LTE, and Bluetooth bugs, thinking about the G3 reminds me how lucky I am to have the Pixel.

I seriously do not think I can. I have gone back and forth from Samsung to Apple over the past several years. The biggest thing that made me stick with Apple was the timely updates. Never was able to see the Nexus in person to pull the trigger on it. Super happy to be able to have the Pixel. Not sure I can ever go back to Apple. It cracks me up how anxious we are for an update. I'm wondering if any of you would ever consider an OEM other than Google or Apple after being spoiled with timely updates.

Hoping that VZW is wrong with their "full changelog".
Gotta be more than that!!
