T-Mo JOD Orders before 8/4

For those that made the switch to not have the down payment, how long did it take you to get the new EIP lease document to sign? I got the cancelation email for my original order in less than an hour, but haven't seen a new EIP lease document yet (7-8 hours).

Yup, mine came right away. Maybe they got your e-mail wrong? Give them a call!

Hmm, I've been debating this. The Care team on Twitter DM told me it would be a new order so I would lose my current position. Which makes sense because you end up with a new order number, which is sequential.

When the first rep messed up my order and I had to get it fixed the next morning, I had a new order number. They didn't just fix the existing order.

Rep said that even though it's a new order number, the place in the queue was being updated with that order number. True? Not sure. Reassuring? Maybe. Does it help that the quoted shipping date was still the same? Yup.

Yeah, the same quoted ship time is good. Reps telling people different info, not so good lol.

I'm just gonna let my $70 ride this time. To much hassle and rep error getting my order placed to start with. I'm not going thru the whole motion again.

I am doing the same.

Too much of a hassle and it's lower payments so it will work out to be the same going forward anyway.. U pay now or later

Well, not exactly. If you change the phone in 6 months, you're saving 46 bucks. 38 if you upgrade in 8 months. 22 if you do so in a year. So unless you keep the phone for 18 months, you're not really paying it later in full.

Yep, this is true. Gain back about $4/month that I own the device. Oh well, T-Mobile paid over $2,000 to acquire my 5 lines from Sprint, I guess it won't hurt if I eat a few bucks this time around.
