T-Mobile 5G UC on unlocked

Unlocked s22u on T-Mobile and I get 5gUC with no issues.

Did you flash the T-mo CSC package or stock unlocked? I am stock unlocked and have never seen 5GUC in UC areas

There... exactly what I stated earlier. There is nothing wrong functionally; it's just an icon display issue. Maybe a future firmware may include provider-specific verbiage for the unlocked S22.

If you want to sanity check (as per T-Mobile's site above), if you're connected to bands n41, n258, n260, or n261, then you're on their 5G UC network.

If *#0011# doesn't work, try downloading an app called "LTE Discovery" and check the network stats.

Thanks but I got it to work (and confirmed that I'm on n41, a 5G UC band).

Awesome, glad it worked. Thanks for testing, and sharing feedback with others who may have the same issue. I was curious myself but couldn't test it yet as I'm still waiting for delivery. I guess this issue is no longer a concern for the others who seemed worried their phones were duds.
