Point is, its a great discount.

I got the same deal you did dlg_az. I went through the my tmobile account and did your steps exactly and thought it didn't work. However when I went to put in my cc info it changed to the $147 price... Thanks for the info.
That's great; glad it worked for you, too. I should have added the CC info in my steps - thanks for bringing that up. I'm going to edit my post with that.

Mine didn't change to that price once I put my credit card information in. It seems that hitting apply discount twice is what did it, as the amount of $146.99 is 30% off of $209.99, which is 30% off of $299.99. I wonder if you can just keep hitting apply discount and get it down to $.01!
Yeah, I tried that ... didn't work. Best I got was the $146.99.
I got to the credit card screen and it was still 209 for me... 223 with tax.

What to do, what to do... I already have a N3/GG on preorder with VZW. I will need to cancel the VZW order and reorder the N3 only.

I'd do the deed now, if I were you. You never know, TMo may find out it's not working quite right and fix the form - if they haven't already. ;-)

Sorry I wasnt clear... I have ordered the GG thru T-Mo .... I am wondering about canceling my N3/GG combo order with VZW and reordering just the phone.
Ah, I see. If it were me, I would do this ... go through the order process for just the Gear, to when you get just before clicking on Submit My Order and see if you get the discount. If so, submit the order, then go back and cancel your phone/gear order and reorder just the phone. If you can get any discount on the Gear, go for that. Else, it will cost you MSRP when you order the two together, no?

I'm curious if after entering the credit card information if the price showed up as 146 before you actually hit place order, or is there another screen after the place order spot that says final review under the credit card information page? I can only get 209 to show up as the price and was curious if there is one more screen after the credit card page or if that's it. I wasn't planning on ordering this, but if can get for 150 I'd definitely do.

It's a no-brainer. Cancel the whole order with VZW. Order the GG through T-Mob, savings of about $100. And then re-order just the phone through VZW.
It did show it just before I hit "submit your order." Otherwise, I would have cancelled at that point, so I can safely say yes to that. As I stated in the thread, it could be T-Mo realized what was happening and did a quick fix to stop the higher discounts. I'm still waiting for an email from them telling me uh, uh, no way you're getting that price, buster! ;-)
I don't know that you can, but perhaps start a new thread and refer back to this one for the details?
I can't get a better price than 224.37 shipping included I this TMo realized was a problem and fixed, bummer

Look at it this way; it would have been closer to $320 or so with tax at normal price, so you still did good!
