T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I'll have you guys know - I was on the Samsung Preorder thread, but after a terrible, terrible customer service technical issue with my current carrier Sprint and their feeble mindless attempts at activating my factory unlocked Note 9, I walked into the Tmobile store and they had me set up on a prepaid plan in minutes. Flawless, fluid setup , no delays, no guesswork, they were competent and knew what they were doing.
Welcome to tmobile. It's not the greatest, but it's much better than sprint.

Sprint will soon be a part of tmobile if the merger is approved lol
Pretty sure the merger will go through this time, but sprint will be used for their hardware more than anything else. So in a few years it will be all t-mobile with extra towers.

Now I'm really pi**ed. One hour ago it shows I'll get it tomorrow because it's at my local hub which is only 20 min from my house. Now its been rescheduled until Friday. WHY!!! They have it because I just seen when they scanned it in. Can they do this? Or is this a Samsung thing? I'll call in the morning and see if I can pick it up there unless it's out for delivery in the morning. This makes me sick. It has a arrivel scan at 10:23 pm and had a destination scan at 11:55 pm. I'm livid at this point.

Same thing happened to me earlier today

I'm kind of glad I didn't go for the 512 Overkill version, I'm very impatient I would have not been able to wait
My bad for the low key shade comment bro. But u gotta admit 128gb is nice to have. Even though I'm only using half of my 64gb on my LG K20 I wouldn't mind 128 .

Tmobile definitely needs an upgrade on the service

Tmobile prices and services are decent IMO. Pretty cheap for us. However the way their POS system and customer support operates is not. You might recall the fiasco of months trying to get my Note 7 refund because the store screwed it up and then back and forth regarding the refund then wanting to give me like a $700 bill credit. It was to the point I was going to the media about it until Tforce was able to refund my card the full amount after almost FOUR months.

That's why I just buy unlocked phone from another retailer or samsung.com I don't want to deal with them again on an issue like that.

I received the same type of information regarding shipping... Keep checking your emails and Ups, it's possible you will receive your phone tomorrow?..

That's fine, but I'm sure Tmobile isn't going to go by Sprint's sad sorry excuse for customer service and their design and execution of processing customer account info/sim activation, related info.

So I spoke to a TMO rep and he said everything on their end still shows my original 8/24 ship date. He said seeing that new estimated ship date on the app homepage is possibly a "technical error" seeing as that any new order as of today for a 512gb blue will have that 9/19 ship date. I'll know for sure depending on if my card gets charged tommorow or Friday.

Let us hope.

For my experience, the way Tmobile treated me and handled my concerns when I walked into the store yesterday, they are leaps and bounds beyond what Sprint is. No comparison.

Sprint was trying to tell me yesterday that they couldn't activate my Note 9 because the official release date wasn't until Friday.... (S).

I ordered the 128 Blue on the 15th, paid the $6.99 shipping, got T-Force to credit my account for $6.99, had it delivered to a UPS Store and it was there by noon on the 22nd.

I previously had the S9+, and I like the little bit of added size of the new Note 9.

I can also confirm wireless charging works with the official S-View case and the Rugged case from Samsung on the Samsung charger and on my Tylt Vu

So my phone is sitting at the nearest UPS sort facility since last night, and has been delayed until tomorrow. Is it worth my while to try to pick it up there today? I know those places can be a total CF.
