I think there are some apps that give root access to a phone. However, I and many other people dislike them. 1. You don't know exactly what is happening to your phone. 2. There is rarely anything learned by an app doing it. 3. The satisfaction of doing it yourself.
Sometimes Root apps may not obtain root access properly and can possibly mess up your phone.
