Is there anyway to add a hotspot to the T-Mobile $70 truly unlimited prepaid plan?

Also for anyone in the Raleigh area, I am currently with Verizon but I am debating leaving them since they keep messing with their phones and are getting away from the unlimited data plans. How does T-Mobile work for everyone in the Raleigh area?

Which phone are you using? Certain models including Nexus devices don't tell T-mobile that it's tethering so it works unless T-mobile suspects your tethering based on data they collect on their end.

I haven't switched yet. I want to know how their coverage in the Raleigh area is first. But thanks for heads up regarding tethering, I'm guessing the international models and Nexus devices don't tell T-Mobile.

How has your experience with T-Mobile been?

+1 please more information on tethering plans...

T-Mobile upcoming plans will include 500MB of tethering with the unlimited plan with the option to pay for more tethering data.

That is wrong. T-Mobile can tell by your user agent. If you're tethering to another mobile device like a Nexus 7 or Nexus 10. But if you are tethering to your laptop, they will find out and block you within minutes. It's happened to me on my Nexus 4.

Problem is everyone has had different results tethering on T-mobile with a Nexus device some being blocked immediately while others have been able to tether for years with no catch.

I just switch last week from the 5gb to the truly unlimited plan. My 5gb plan had tethering, and if I moved up to the 10gb plan I could have kept tethering. Their truly unlimited plan does not included tethering. From what I've been reading, their getting better at recognizing and blocking tethering, and the Nexus 4 (at least stock) is not immune.
