T-Mobile LG G2 touch screen issues and repair

I've had my G2 D801 since 3 months and it was working perfect until I dropped it and the screen got cracked and like half of the screen isn't responsive. So I'm going to buy the screen replacement on eBay, the problem is the screen says only for D800, would it work with my D801?

Have you got it fixed?

As far as I know it will not work... It must be labeled D801-D803 in order to fit. By the way Amazon is way cheaper than eBay.
